PAFLA welcomes individual lawyers, allied professionals, students, and organizations. Find the class that fits — the inquiry form works for all of them.

Regular

Voting

₱2,500 / year

Filipino lawyers in good standing with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) who practice in — or are committed to — fintech law.

Associate

Non-voting

₱2,000 / year

Allied professionals who are not Philippine-admitted lawyers — compliance officers, founders, technologists, academics, and foreign-qualified lawyers.

Corporate

Non-voting

₱5,000 / year

Organizations that support PAFLA — fintech companies, law firms, and financial institutions — represented by designated individuals.

Includes up to 3 named representatives; additional seats ₱2,000 each.

Student

Non-voting

₱500 / year

Law students currently enrolled at a recognized Philippine law school.

Honorary

Non-voting

By invitation

Individuals of distinction invited by the Board in recognition of their contributions to fintech, law, or public accountability.

Dues waived.

Dues and terms shown are proposed and subject to approval by the PAFLA Board.

03 The Terms

Membership at a glance.

  • Membership year Runs the calendar year (January 1 – December 31). Renewals are due by January 31; those who join after September 30 are credited to the following year.
  • Good standing Maintained while dues are current and the member observes PAFLA's Code of Conduct. A 30-day grace period follows each renewal date.
  • Member rights Take part in programs, events, working groups, and continuing-education sessions; access insights and the member network; and use the designation "Member, PAFLA." Regular Members additionally vote and may hold office.
  • Obligations Pay dues on time and uphold PAFLA's mission and Code of Conduct — and, for lawyers, the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA).
  • Resignation & discipline Members may resign at any time (dues are non-refundable). Membership may lapse for non-payment, or be suspended or terminated for cause with due process and Board action.
